    寻找、发现、记录、感悟......对上海的记忆，除了脑海中不时闪现的影像片断，是否有一个声音触动过你的心弦？“我最喜欢的上海的声音”大赛征集、评选活动在缓缓落下帷幕的同时，又将掀起新一轮的高潮。英国当代声音艺术家凯芙·马修斯为上海度身打造制作的声音装置，灵感采撷于我们朝夕相处的城市。那些被记录下来的声音无论平淡或是真实、激情或是感人、温情或是浪漫，都属于上海－我们这座城市。

    Seek,discover,record,and feel...Has there ever been a sound that touched your heart besides all the memories of Shanghai in your mind? While the contest of "My favorite sound of Shanghai" is coming to an end,a new wave of heat is starting.  Kaffe Matthews,the acclaimed contemporary artist,has recorded Shanghai for what it is,inspired by this very city that we live in.All the recorded sound belongs to Shanghai,our own city,no matter how ordinary or real,passinate or touching,warm or romantic. 

    在此CD中收藏的声音片断来自城市之中那群细心的聆听者。他(她)们敏锐的听觉为城市搭建了一座声音档案库，同时也为上海增添一丝风情，加深一份人文内涵。
